It takes a community to feed a community.

Rooted in Outreach Community Kitchen is building relationships with local businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, food distributors, farms, faith communities, and other organizations that want to help us put good food into the hands of our neighbors.

Our community partners already make a meaningful difference. Awaken Church RVA helps connect our meals directly with people living in motels and experiencing homelessness. Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center has provided food and ingredients for our cooking events. Local restaurants have stepped in with their own talents and resources—including preparing hundreds of loaves of garlic bread to accompany our meals.

And we would love to grow that circle.

For ROCK, a partnership doesn't have to mean writing a check. Businesses can help by donating fresh produce, meat, dairy, pantry staples, packaging and kitchen supplies; providing prepared components of a meal; contributing equipment or professional services; sponsoring a monthly meal; or simply helping us connect with resources that might otherwise go unused.

For grocery stores, restaurants and food businesses in particular, access to fresh, wholesome food can dramatically expand what we're able to put on the plate.

We prepare and distribute hundreds of meals at a time, so even a single partnership can have an enormous impact.
